Victor, ID (the cooler, more local side of Jackson) is a couple miles east of ID / WY Stateline, 18 miles from Wilson, WY and 23 from Jackson. Pop. 2,500, little Victor combines the charm of a small town with premier outdoor sporting activities—better biking, fishing than Jackson side and as good, but less traveled, trails. In the winter, Victor is equidistant between two renowned ski resorts: the world-famous Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Targhee. Spring skiing is some of the best you’ll ever experience: fresh powder and empty runs for days!
Having opened in late July 2018, with a third building completed in July 2021, The Victor has 21 total units, four of which are buffed out for short and medium-term use. It is as close as you can be to bars, restaurants. Large and plentiful windows provide a light atmosphere and expansive mountain views. Each unit comes with its own private patio. Complete range of new appliances and flat screen TV.
This is Teton Valley lodging at its finest— more relaxed. Three hours more sunlight in summer. More genuine town. And far better value than Jackson.
